On-line Services
Theis page sets out the terms under which
IFA Systems Ltd will set up and run a module offering on-line services
through your website. It also clarifies what action is required
on your part in order to complete the services offered.
Please
read the text carefully: by ordering an OnLine Services package
we will deem you to have accepted these Terms.
A demo of this module can viewed on-line through the sample Infosites.
You
can either order this module separately using the button on
the left, or you can order it when you also order your chosen Infosite
package.

Terms and Conditions of Business for supply of the OnLine Services
package
IFA Systems Ltd will set up an On-line Services module for use
through your website, which will include the features listed below.
The aim of this module is to offer execution-only services to visitors
to your website, which will clearly be stated on the opening page.
The relevant IDDs and Data Protection statements
will be required during the setup procress, for display above the
relevant links.
The name of the organisation supplying each service will be clearly
stated on the intro page for each service, with a warning notice
about the limits of responsibility of the IFA whose website they
are
accessed
through.
Although information is offered to enable research/quote comparison,
no guidance is meant to be offered through any of these links.
If the client wishes to contact you after having read the information
on your site you will then be in a position to offer advice on
the usual terms.
You will need to set up accounts direct with the suppliers of
services for life assurance, investment bonds, PMI, fund supermarkets
and general insurance (see below for further details). The research
facility for credit cards and loans will go through Moneyfacts.
Any unwanted services can be removed from the main page, although
there will be no reduction on cost for services not taken up.
Services offered:
Life assurance: compare and buy Life Insurance
products, including critical illness cover
Intro page outlining the
service offered, linking to comparative quotation and application
module powered by Webline.
You need to contact Webline to open an account with them (www.webline.co.uk)
or 0870 024 6810. They charge £10 + VAT pm for
their service, which covers all the modules they offer.
We will link to details Webline will provide you with, with your
agency reference embedded.
Commission will be paid direct to you from Webline.
Investment Bonds – compare and buy investment
bonds
Intro page outlining the service offered, linking to comparative
quotation and application module powered by Webline.
Your Webline account will also cover for providing this module
(see life assurance above).
We will link to details Webline will provide you with, with
your agency reference embedded.
Commission will be paid direct to you from Webline.
Funds Supermarket: buy ISAs and Unit Trusts (UTs)
on-line
The standard service provides an intro page outlining the service
offered for buying and switching online, linking to the Fund
Supermarket from Cofunds.
If you want to offer clients access to their own valuations as
well then we can provide the Cofunds Express service, for an additional
cost of £25 + VAT per month per 100 registered users,
then 50p + VAT per month per user: e-sales are charged @ £8
+ VAT per sale, e-switches @ £4 + VATper trade.
For either solution you need to provide us with your Cofunds
PID, or contact Cofunds to open an account with them (www.cofunds.co.uk)
or 0207
398 7026.
Commission will be paid direct to you from Cofunds: we will take
the charges due for the Express version via Direct Debit.
We can if preferred set up links instead to Fidelity’s
Funds Network within the stated price. Or we can add links to both fund
supermarkets for an additonal £75 + VAT. No monthly charge with
these options.
Private Insurance and Business Insurance: all
types of insurance available
Intro page outlining the areas covered,
linking to quotation modules or quotation enquiries (if broked),
handled by Berkeley
Alexander or Ceta, (using
their Ceta Premium service), as you choose.
You will need to register with your chosen provider, who will
set up an agency for you: we will embed the referrer code into
your
site.
Commission will be paid direct to you from the supplier,
who will also handle any claims made on any insurance so arranged.
Private Medical Insurance: lets your clients
compare rates for their particular situation, and apply online

We will link to the service from your site.
Commission from any business generated will be paid direct to
you from Webline.
Income Protection: compare rates for PHI
Intro page outlining the service offered, linking to comparative
quotation module provided by Webline (see
above).
We will link to the service from your site.
Commission will be paid direct to you from Webline at your normal
rate.
Mortgage Sourcing: this is an optional extra,
and enables your clients to research the whole market for
the best deal to suit them, then enables them to apply on-line. The
application comes to you to handle in the normal way.
This facility is provided through MortgageLinked from
Network Data. See separate page for more details. Please note that
some Networks do not allow links to this module from their members'
sites.
Personal Loans: compare and obtain quotes for a personal loan
on-line
Intro page outlining the service offered, linking to comparative
quotation module provided by Moneyfacts.
We will link to service from your site.

Credit Cards: compare rates and apply for credit card accounts
on-line
Intro page outlining the service offered, linking to comparative
quotation module provided by Moneyfacts.

Utilities switching: compare rates and apply on-line for gas,
electricity, digital TV or home telephone
Intro page outlining the service offered, linking to comparative
quotation module provided by USwitch.
We will link to service from your site.
Commission to be paid direct from uSwitch - £6 per customer
for gas/electricity accounts, £5 for home telephone.
Compulsory Purchase Annuities: compare rates
Intro page outlining the service offered, linking to comparative
quotation module provided by Webline (see
above).
We will link to the service from your site.
Commission will be paid direct to you from Webline at your normal
rate.
Integration with your website
The module can either be supplied for integration into your existing
website, or can be supplied as part of the setting up of a complete
website set up by us (either an IFA
Infosite or a bespoke
design).
If you have a website which was not supplied by IFA Systems, you
will need to liaise with your designer first to check how it will
fit within the site. If we need to carry out any special preparation
work required by your website designer we will quote for the work
beforehand. We can also supply links to each of the above from
separate pages of your site, but this is subject to an additional

Cross-selling
Where third parties are involved in handling any of the above applications
through your website, IFA Systems have been assured that no cross-selling
will occur from those third parties to your enquirers.
Compliance
We are used to working closely with the majority of Networks to
obtain their approval to the intro pages for the above features,
where they form part of your website. We will endeavour to use
the relevant Regulatory Statements and warnings where applicable,
but some Networks require differing warnings. Your module (and
website if we are also setting that up for you) will be set up
under an address known only to you and us, so you and your compliance
officer can see it but the general public cannot. It will not
be uploaded under the final URL until it has been approved by
your compliance officer. Please note that certain Networks do not
allow links to all the above modules from their members' sites.
Costs and payment
The setup cost of an IFA
Infosite packaged website can include
the cost of the On-Line Services Module. We can also add this
module to our Introsite package
at a standard cost of £200 + VAT, excluding
any additional charges made direct by the provider companies. On
receipt of your order we will invoice you for the initial setup
cost for settlement by cheque. Any additional setup work will
be invoiced on completion of the module. All setup fees need
to be paid before the finished site is published. If any of the
above services are not taken up at the outset but required at
a later date then the full setup cost will be applied for each
one – see our website or Website Addons page for
details.
Contract period
There is no minimum contract period for the use of the basic module,
but if you choose the Cofunds Express service there is an initial
contract period of 12 months, monthly thereafter. If you wish
to cease the use of this service we will require sufficient notice
in writing, and will remove and disable the links on the appropriate
date.
