Portfolio Adviser
Portfolio Adviser is an invaluable addition to your website which allows you,
the Financial Adviser, to display a complete one-page summary of the policies and investments that you manage for each client, for that client to log in and view securely online.
Our latest version enables you to offer the following service to your clients, among other features:
- secure login to a personalised welcome page
- ability to provide joint or separate logins for client and partner as preferred
- access to a summary of their portfolio valuations uploaded from Adviser Office, Plum or Prestwood
- ability to add their own legacy policies to complete the overall view
- storage of up to 12 previous valuations, to track history
- automatic updating of unit prices
- optional addition of link to fund factsheets from each policy for in-depth research
- option of adding our new Portfolio Updater system to get instant policy updates from the product providers
- new!- option of further extension by also adding our Transaction History module to give instant real-time details of all transactions via Cofunds
To enable your clients to log in securely we give you our own Client
Login system to sit within your website, so that your
clients can access and view their own details with confidence. Please note: if you have a website with IFA Systems then it will already include this feature, so you only need to add the Portfolio Adviser module.
The process involves uploading a file which your back office software creates via our Website Manager.
Once the file has been uploaded you can then select which clients you would like to have access to their portfolio summary.
Under the Client Login module (already provided as standard within our templated websites) you would get:
- access for clients to secure pages
- a customisable welcome page
- use of a range of pre-populated enquiry forms
- link to that client's personal contact details and stated priorities, which they can update
- link to a Letter of Authority and Money Laundering details
- option of links to other features within your existing site if required eg life quotes, fund supermarkets
- ability to register clients automatically by bulk upload from your database (involves an additional one-off cost if not from Adviser Office, Plum or Prestwood)
By adding the Portfolio Adviser module you would have:
- a link to that client's portfolio summary (now including Cash accounts and Assets for users of Adviser Office)
- ability to upload a client's portfolio daily, monthly, annually, or as frequently as you wish
- latest price date for each fund displayed
- ability to display portfolios as joint or separate for client and partner
- ability for either the client or the Adviser to add further policies manually
- link to Finex's overnight price feed: this will show the latest policy valuations and fund search facility for manually entered policies (NB if you are not already a subscriber to Finex there will be an additonal fee for this service).
- ability for the client to choose to save up to 12 valuation histories.
You could then choose to add one or more of the following features:
- fund factsheet module: this enables your clients to drill down to various levels of detail on each fund, including fund history and comparisons. For this to be active you need to use MEX codes in your back office system
- ability to upload personal documents for each client using a secure page of our Document Manager module
- link to our Portolio Updater system: this enables you or the client to request an instant valuation from the certain product providers both in terms of prices and units
- link to our new Transaction History module: this enbales you or the client to obtain instant details of all transactions for a policy, broken down by fund:
- if you have any other back office system we can also look at that and quote for setting up links from that database to our online system.
The next steps:
Cost: Our charge for supplying the Portfolio Adviser programme
(including Client Login, Registration
level), and for setting up the intro page and associated
links, is from £495 + VAT to set up, and £95
+ VAT per month thereafter for up to 200 client records -
more space can be rented for additional clients on a sliding scale.
Reduced setup and monthly rates of £295
+ VAT and £75 + VAT pm respectively apply to existing
clients who already use the Client Login system. The
minimum contract period is 6 months.
If you do not already subscribe to Financial Express for price feeds and fund research we can supply this facility on a weekly basis for £50 + VAT pm: daily updates can be supplied at an additional fee. This is essential if you want to obtain overnight price updates and to link manually entered policies to fund names. The minimum contract period is 6 months.
The cost of adding the fund factsheets is from £90 + VAT to set up, and then £90 + VAT pm ongoing irrespective of the number of registered clients.
The cost of adding our Document Manager to enable uploads of individual client documents to the secure logon area is from £75 + VAT.
