Portfolio Adviser basic - key features
Portfolio Adviser is an invaluable addition to your website which allows you,
the Financial Adviser, to display a complete one-page summary of the policies and investments that you manage for each client, for that client to log in and view securely online.
The process involves uploading a file which your back office software creates via our Website Manager.
Once the file has been uploaded you can then select which clients you would like to have access to their portfolio summary.
To enable your clients to log in securely we give you our own Client
Information Centre to sit within your website, so that your
clients can access and view their own details with confidence. Please note: if you have a website with IFA Systems then it will already include this feature, so you only need to add the Portfolio Adviser module.
Under the Client Information Centre (already provided as standard within our templated websites) you would get:
- access for clients to secure pages
- a customisable welcome page
- use of a range of pre-populated enquiry forms
- link to that client's personal contact details and stated priorities, which they can update
- link to a Letter of Authority and Money Laundering details
- option of links to other features within your existing site if required eg life quotes, fund supermarkets
- ability to register clients automatically by bulk upload from your Adviser Office database.
By adding the Portfolio Adviser Basic module you would have:
- a link to that client's portfolio summary in a clear one-page summary (now including Cash accounts and Assets for users of Adviser Office)
- further links to view details of each policy
- ability to upload a client's portfolio daily, monthly, annually, or as frequently as you wish
- latest price date for each fund displayed
- ability for either the client or the Adviser to add further policies manually
- link to Finex's overnight price feed: this will show the latest policy valuations and fund search facility for manually entered policies (NB if you are not already a subscriber to Finex there will be an additional fee for this service).
You can then extend the facilities you offer your clients through this module by adding our:
- Fund Factsheets to enable your clients to drill down to various levels of detail on each fund, including fund history and comparisons. For this to be active you need to use MEX codes in your back office system
- upgrade to Portfolio Adviser Pro for additonal risk profiling and funds under management tools
- Portfolio Updater to enable you or the client to request an instant valuation from the certain product providers both in terms of prices and units
- Transaction History to enable you or the client to obtain instant details of all transactions for a policy, broken down by fund.
